ABOUT BIG SMALL TOWN ENTERTAINMENT
Big Small Town Entertainment is an East Tennessee arts and media company founded by Dustin Street in 2005, as Dustin Street Productions, for the purposes of shooting a documentary film about the Unicoi County High School band program and designing print advertisements for freelance clients.
In 2009, the company underwent a slight reorganization and served a temporary stint as a publicity firm under the moniker Dustin Street PR & Professional Services.
In 2012, public relations services were phased out and the company was expanded to include photography and a fully-functional independent film studio. The company was renamed Big Small Town Studios in preparation for its first release – a digital series titled The Stranger.
In 2016, Big Small Town Studios was joined by its sister company, Big Small Town Books – an independent book publishing house, in time for the startup's first literary releases (a commemorative photo book titled Historical Reflections: Erwin, Tennessee Revisited, by Cheryl White-White; and a historical novella titled Big Mary, by Dustin Street).
Big Small Town Studios and Big Small Town Books fall under the Big Small Town Entertainment umbrella, providing quality services and products for more than a decade.
