You may be contacted and asked to perform a read of a scene selection from our film, so please be prepared for that. **Note: We are casting a multi-racial (Caucasian/African-American) four-member family, in a period piece set in 1874.** [EMILY DANIELS] Female, Any Race Late 30s or 40s Typical frontier mother, does the cooking, washing, child-rearing; something is a little off about her, but she handles late 19th century life the best she can [JACOB DANIELS] Male, Any Race 16-18 years old A restless son; tired of the frontier life; wants to move to the city and experience something new; ungrateful [ELIZABETH DANIELS] Female, Any Race 8-12 years old A selfish, self-important daughter,and the most spoiled brat in all the frontier; it's never enough for her FILMING DATE: Saturday, December 19, 2015 TIME: Approx. 5 p.m. (Expect to stay late into the evening, as we will need nighttime exteriors) Pay is $50 for the shoot, and date of pay is contingent upon funds raised -- ERWIN HORROR STORY is an upcoming drama/horror series from Big Small Town Studios (from the creator of THE STRANGER). THE VISITOR is the first of several promotional short films that will be released to build excitement for the series, which releases next October. THE VISITOR has been fast-tracked and is due for release on Christmas Eve 2015. |
GENERAL INFOWhen submitting for any role with the studio, please send an email to the address specified in the breakdown. Please be sure to include the following in the email: AFTER YOU SUBMITRemember to be patient. Sometimes, we receive dozens, or even hundreds of submissions for a single role.
You may not hear from us right away, and generally we will only contact individuals we are interested in seeing a video audition from. If we do not contact you, it is not because we don't like you! You just may not be right for the particular role. Another common reason we do not contact certain individuals is because instructions are not followed complete. Please be sure you read all information in the breakdowns and include all requested information. If we get a submission that omits items we have asked for, we typically delete the submission right away. IF WE CONTACT YOUCongrats! We want to see more! Generally, we will send you a small portion of a scene or monologue to read for us on camera. You can record your performance on any camera you have at your disposal, and share it with us in a variety of ways. Just be sure to read all information we send to you on how to get your video to us, and be sure you submit it by the deadline we give you.
